Why study Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do

  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do stresses proficiency with both hand and foot techniques, making it a versatile form of karate and effective street defense.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do is a realistic style of karate, stressing “close-in” techniques necessary for street fighting.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do  is a very effective form of karate, with snap-punch & snap-kick techniques that permit moving in and out of range quickly.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do is more adaptable to the American physique and temperament than other, more rigid styles because Professor Richard A. Bell adapted it to follow natural body movements.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do will help you get into better physical shape because it provides you with an aggressive exercise program that improves muscle tone, suppleness, speed and strength, and it is adaptable to all ages.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do kicks, strikes, and punches are thrown from natural stances, eliminating wasted motions and yielding split-second advantages over other styles of karate.
  • Sansei Isshin-ryu Karate-Do, Professor Richard A. Bell, and Grandmaster Alda E. Anduze are recognized by The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
